The magazine of environmental quality (RQA) is a publication made by the Club EMAS with the support of the Department of Territory and Sustinability.
This magazine has the following objectives:
- To be a specialized source of information on environmental quality.
- To be a tool for the cohesion of EMAS registered organizations and organizations granted with the Ecolabel.
- To promote environmental quality in Catalonia.
- To promote and encourage the exchange of experiences.
- To get closer environmentally friendly organizations in Europe.
- To "reward" with a tangible service the organizations with good environmental practices and systems.

The RQA is an ecodesigned magazine and it is designed and printed by EMAS registered organizations.
Moreover, we offset the GHG emissions related to the consumption of paper and the printing process.
In relation its design, there are 7 criteria that have been considered in order to reduce the environmental impact of the final product:
- Eco-criteria 1: 100% recycled paper (Ciclus Offset) 90 grams , Blue Angel and Nordic Swan ecolabels. The use of paper is optimized by adapting the contents to the format of the sheets of paper and by reducing to the minimum the white spaces.
- Eco-criteria 2: Use of colors. 4 color printing, using printing plates that minimize the consumptionof ink thanks to a better definition of the colors.
- Eco-criteria 3: Substitution of paper by bytes. The magazine is also distributed in a dpf format and any user can downloaded it from the web..
- Eco-criteria 4: Use of perforations in the paper made by the autmatic bender machine without the need of a specific die-cut.
- Eco-criteria 5: Manipulation. It does not need glue and staples, the magazine is a manual folding/unfolding item.
- Eco-criteria 6: Distribution and logisltics. It does not need plastic or paper envelope. It's sended unwrapped. The data of the recipient are placed ina paper label in the upper right side of the magazine and it closes the document.
- Eco-criteria 7: Waste management. It's a single product , 100% paper and therefore 100% recyclable.
